We have not been getting calls all year. This game was lost from the 12 min to the 8 min mark with all those bad calls. Then they gave Bruce a warning and he had to remain calm or get a T. But this has happened all year. I say we have lost 5 games to iffy calls. That was like a 6-8 point swing in that span.

Well with recruiting screwed this will be our best team in the next few years. We are back to a .500 sec team at best. Sad how this whole ncaa thing has taken our team down in one season. All the magic is just gone.

Even though I am not suprised I just won't let myself get pissed like I did earlier in the season. We already know the outcome. They will even try to get us out of the sec tourney asap and put us in the nit.

Even though i think Bruce screwed up now they are just screweing the kids. They try to play hard and get screwed game after game.

Blaming this loss on the officiating is patently stupid.

And it wouldn't have mattered worth one **** if we don't decide that we don't deserve a seven-point lead so it's time to throw our worst lineup possible on the floor.

Wel that too. But we do get bad charging calls on us every game. Any judgement calls go for the other team. And I blame that on Bruce. You already know why.

The fact of the matter is that UT had every chance to win that game and squandered each and every one

Our loss tonight was not because of officiating. I felt like we completely outplayed Florida up until the final minute, where we choked and took a stupid shot after wasting the final 30 seconds

Guys, it doesn't take but a couple of bad calls at critical times to change a game, especially for a team playing like the Vols. I agree with the OP, the Vols are indeed a marked team.

It's obvious the players don't believe in him or themselves except Hobson. No way they can beat Ky last yr with 5 1st rounders and Kansas with a depleated roster and almost make the final 4 and can't compete this yr. The sec was way tougher last yr.

Bad officiating is stupid. More and more fans beginning to accept it though. I understand the ones saying that you have to play through poor officiating. Obviously, you have to. You can't give up. Someone needs to step up and improve the officiating.

Last time Mike Slive tryed to help us we got the ncaa to extend the investigation and keep all this going. We are just stuck this year.

Those who even remotely blame the loss tonight on officiating, you seriously should consider not watching sports anymore.

For the most part, officials do not care which team wins the game. Our coaches and players determine the outcome.

did anyone think to stop the ball on walker's drive ? no , that's what got us beat.

I am not saying officiating costs us the game. I am saying it sucks. It has sucked for awhile and will continue to suck as long as it's ignored. And, I'm tired of it. Anyone else that enjoys poor officiating can continue. It really affects the game experience for me.

That's been a problem all season. Instead of building a lead, we allow teams to hang around by putting a nonproductive lineup in. We are not effective enough at finishing games to do this.
