Not that he needs it but Heupel got his justification

Thank you for your support.
It's been quite a while since my original explanation and things have changed a bit since then. Chris is now 50 years old, but still child-like in some ways and still a great "kid".
Being his uncle, I'm much older than Chris and pleased to say that he calls me his favorite uncle. And Special Ed is still his favorite TV character.
We live close to each other now and I'm retired, so I'm able to spend time with him on a regular basis. Since he's unable to get a driver's license due to poor reading skills, he enjoys going on long rides with me and talking about what kind of vehicle he's going to buy someday "when he gets his license". That's not going to happen, but I don't say that to him. He's always been a big Vol fan, like me, so we watch the games now on my big-screen HDTV. I don't want to go into too much detail now without his permission. He's "special needs" and lives with his younger brother who's also handicapped (physically). They're both on government assistance, so they don't have much money to spend on anything other than housing and other necessities. So, I help to support both of them financially and in other ways when I can. In any case, I don't take any criticism aimed at me seriously. I realize that many other posters don't know all the facts, so they can't possibly take any of the unknown aspects into consideration when they shoot from the hip.
That's all for now. Go Vols!
Love your posts and love this update. I don’t post a ton but usually do just to respond and mess with people from time to time. Especially people like “LittleVolSyndrome”……

Who I noticed did not respond. Also I noticed seems very confused about the origins of sin, death, and evil. But no worries!

Thanks for all your laughs Special Ed and thanks for sharing how you love your nephews unconditionally!!

I was critical of Heupels second half play calling against OU. My criticism was completely unwarranted and dumb.

If I offend anybody by poking fun at you or your username even though I don’t know you due to this being an anonymous message board. Please know I don’t take things too seriously and I apologize in advance. Just having a bit of fun blowing off steam.

Jxn, there's one thing in poking fun without full knowledge. It's another tripling down on it (before the mods cleaned it up) when you have that knowledge....

And how would anyone know people’s story based on a handle. Grading people and calling people evil for dealing with limited data is absolutely woke and ignorant on your part. And who are you to judge anyone. Get off your high horse
You don't need unlimited data to be kind and courteous. Old-fashioned, I know, but I'm an old guy.

Well this thread took an interesting turn.

It’s interesting how callous we can be to each other on the internet but when you actually get to know some of the people on the other end of those usernames you figure out some are pretty remarkable people.

Life is too short and sometimes really hard try not to be a butthole to people. And yes sometimes it’s hard to take my own advice.

Looks like Special Ed from Crank Yankers, Special Ed from Volnation who uses Special Ed's NIL from Crank Yankers, the guy who said Special Ed was special, the other guy who said special ed is special for using special ed, ed and eddy as a handle, the grammar police, oh, and Special Josh for his conservative 2nd half playcalling when we played OU, based on OU's defense yesterday(mabey, its 950pm PST when im posting this on Sunday night), all are justified! There is no flag on the play for unsportsman like conduct, the play stands as is. #GBO, VFL

As someone who has a son that will never live alone and hopefully after I’m gone will be with one of his brothers I appreciate you, your nephew and your family. I also enjoy your brand of humor. Cheers to you Special Ed.

PS: I would not have chosen Special Ed myself. I had some other monikers in mind, but Chris insisted.
I had no idea...but you've always been one of my favorites here. Like I said in another thread, It costs you nothing to be a good human...you, sir, are a good human.

Your handle makes sense
This is the state of the world.
I reprimanded someone - who that I’ve since had to block- about the same issue.

You don’t make fun of people with mental disabilities, or special needs, on the spectrum etc. Those are people that can’t react to the world the same us.

Yet people on this site said I was being too sensitive. This isn’t “woke” BS. How can anyone deliberately make fun of a person that can never reason to make the same decisions as everyone else?

This isn’t a male arguing that he’s really a woman “on the inside “. We’re talking about people that can’t even perceive those notions!! Yet, people want to make fun of them.??

People and their lack of empathy is why evil exists. Not because of some big bad fallen Angel. Humans don’t need that…

In fairness Special Ed's grammar police routine does get tedious at times.

I use the word retard all the time with my friends but would NEVER use it or any other derogatory word towards someone with special needs. Same for the word gay. I won't stop using either word and wouldn't even if I had a special needs or gay child.

I made the comment during the bama uga game that Kirby should have taken a knee in the first half, killed the clock and gotten off the field. The QB was shaken and playing poorly. They needed to get off the field and regroup. Results? Uga ended up giving bama a safety and almost another score instead of running the clock. That, my friends, is why Heupel is >> than Kirby. Time will tell.

Some people are asses or say enough stupid things to deserve a snarky retort. SpecialEd isnt one of those posters so thats why I said something...

Sorry, but SE made a snarky comment and deserved the backlash.

Yes, the response went over the line, but the poster didn’t know why until afterward. He had no idea of why that user name was chosen.

I think we could all stop playing the gotcha game so much. And stop being so damned sensitive.

Opening sentence needs something. 🤔
