dooley is a proven loser as a head coach. it's that simple.

dooley has stabilized nothing. he has built nothing. he has done nothing. all he has done is smear his loserdom all over the team and program. it's going to take more than proper shower technique to wash that stuff off too

there is no evidence that the team is any better now than when he arrived at tennessee.

in fact, i can make a persuasive argument that his first team was his best team.

U guys realize utfantilidie sits around thinking of ways to troll you guys daily do you not? You mix something slightly plausible with something slightly ridiculous and you get what we had here last week.... Which is the way he wants it..

...and faster players across the board on defense...either to get to those running lanes before opponent's rbs get through, to get to the opponent's qbs quicker with the front four, or a secondary that does not leave the opponents' wrs open for so long between the cbs and safeties hand-off...I don't know if it is due to your team having a lot of attrition, injuries, or just bad recruiting on that side of the ball but you guys are averaging 37.9 points per game on offense (top scoring offense in the SEC)...that should mean yall are a 1-loss team at worst and headed to Atlanta...but the defense is giving up an outstanding 37 points per game...so if it was possible to keep Dooley, keep your offensive coordinator but totally revamp your defense and defensive philosophy that might be the best option AFTER going full bore after Jon Gruden...

I am as disappointed as anyone but if you look back at Sal's coaching History basically what I see is a NFL dline coach for 6 or so years Carolina Panthers the a lb coach at Alabama for two years(probably already talented Alabama). I know he had previous experience earlier in his career but I think the guy is probably a good d-line coach, period. He by no means should be a defensive coordinator. Also like to add not that impressed with Hart, a guy that left FSU and went to Bama.

There is a problem with this suggestion. What makes you think that Dooley could find a good defensive coordinator?

see, when you have been doing something for over 100 years and something is worse than it ever has been.....well, i don't know, that may be one piece of evidence that the team is no better than when he arrived.

tell me something i don't know....i follow my team. i don't post on other rival's team message boards. i breathe tennessee football. your argument about tennessee's defense is a fact, not an opinion and i agree with you on that. recruiting is taking a dip no doubt, and the seats aren't being filled. i think this has to do more with the negativity surrounding CDD's future and why we aren't hearing a peep from Hart.


anyway idk if the 2010 team would have beat this team. maybe, maybe not. the offense is as potent as you can get really. the D is just inexcusable. i still truly believe this coaching job is a lot more appealing than it was when kiffin bolted. :hi:

the offense has progressed and the defense has regressed. gotten better at one phase while other phases have dropped off. special teams have improved i believe also even though palardy still scares me.
