No negavols in the baseball forum, by definition. If you refer to our boys as a "baseball team", that's actually drinking the kool aid.

Sadly the talent isn't there either. There are some guys who belong at this level. But for the majority we're outclassed and it isn't even close.

Well the game played Thursday and Saturday showed they can play with a #2 ranked team and keep them on their toes. Pitching is good but could be better and filedinf was good. Offense, attitude, and leadership could take this team in a new direction. Their couch showed nothing by being ejected over a call at home plate. This isn't the Pro's. They is no such thing as a challenge. Take the call for what its worth and look forward at needing to gets some hits and hold the remaining runners.

Watched the game on ESPNU Thursday night and was appalled at many things.
* Lack of overall size and ability of our players. No consistent long ball threat.
* Inability to score with runners in scoring position again and again.
* Head coach Raleigh honestly looked like he was in over his head. Looked like he was ready for the season to end.
Time to move in another direction. Don't try to save money on the next hire and find a coach with some enthusiasm.

We look like a D-III team, no offense to D-III, this is embarrassing for a great university! In the parlance of the day...it sucks! Please stop the bleeding...announce a change now...what harm would it do, cause us to loose more games???

Come on guys, give Raleigh a chance. In 8-10 more years he may be able to build the program to where we can be a middle of the pack SEC team and occasionally make the SEC tournament. What more could we ask for?
