If this were a conspiracy and not just a regular-ass accident, why wouldn't they be covering it up right now? We have CDC spokespeople being upfront about it, and acknowledging the accident. Seems like there would be much better covert ways to do this than a truck accident.

Well when people start showing sick with a new virus, the CDC can say that by warning people they were able to prevent an outbreak.

This isn’t going to be a conspiracy at all , this is going to be one of those HUGE government Fk ups that they can’t find a rug big enough to sweep it under . The lawsuits that will be settled out of court on this one are going to be massive .

I don't totally follow. Are you saying the objective of the conspiracy would not be to start another outbreak, but to fake save us from an outbreak, thus improving the CDC's cred?

It just occurred to me that perhaps you believe I actually think that the barrel of monkey's is part of some grand conspiracy and read the first part of my comment in seriousness rather than the cheek I meant it. I did then shift into comparing it to the overall 2020 election operation, which is a "conspiracy" that Time actually (adoringly) documented The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election - and that may have been the confusing part. My appologies.

So while the monkeys could be something significant, I dont see any evidence of that and was just being funny. I do assume tho, that somewhere Dem operatives are trying to come up with scenarios that help their otherwise disastrous situation. Just because you and I may be unwilling to break a few eggs (kill people) to win elections, don't presume that others share our scruples (on both sides).

I think they’re trying to save face at this point and pretend they’re being pro-active while hoping it doesn’t spread disease, and that if it does, then maybe anyone infected will get help immediately. They effed up either way here.

My own experience makes me look for ineptness and corruption in government rather than some finely tuned plan, since I cannot emphasize how really hard it is to manage many people and keep something a secret. It always works best when almost everyone thinks they are doing something for a bland but deniable reason. I still tend to think though it was just them looking for whatever emerging crisis they could use to justify the operation.

Again, amazing that all these various pockets pulled it off. I mean no question of the zuckerberg initiative, etc. Each pocket working independently, I suppose, generally in line with the greater goal. Whoever was directing it at the grand strategy level, though, even if in a loose guidance and conceptual method though, I really cant say I admire but I have immense respect for.

Again, you latch on to all the nut job theories.

1. Trump and his followers were busy congratulating each other on the size of Trump rallies and how the polling data was wrong while democrats were making sure that everyone who wanted to vote could vote.
2. Trump told his followers not to vote by mail. They didn't, but you goombas then claimed the fact that the overwhelming number of mail in votes were for Biden is evidence of fraud.
3. Trump and his followers then spouted all the fake news about vote tallies changing overnight when everyone (even Fox was telling you that there was going to be a late shift.)

Pretty much anyone with half a brain saw this one playing out exactly as it did.

The democrat operative have gotten all the other countries on board with protocols because they were all anti trump and part of the grand conspiracy. Meanwhile, the US government cannot fix a 5 mile stretch of road in under 5 years.

What makes you think there will be consequences for this when there have been NONE for the debacle that we already have? Faucci has been playing footsie with the CCP for years before covid ever materialized and remains the highest paid Federal employee and the darling of the media.
