Can’t stand to lister to Kirt when he’s calling a game. He never shuts up and talks about crap nobody cares about. Talks to hear his head roar. Chris Fowler has to be embarrassed when ever Kirt opens his mouth.
Chris Fowler is too busy being an arse to notice Herbstreit being an arse.

Herbstreit had a bad year overall
I think Herbstreit will step down from his Amazon NFL gig. I think he’s spread too thin and he doesn’t really have the passion for the NFL. I may be in the minority here, but for a long time I’ve always thought he’s done his job very well. Recently, he has seemed different in his demeanor and off the mark comments. I’m hoping he will get back to being one of the best in the business, bc I honestly feel like he was for a long time.

Agree with that….I’m all for capitalism and making as much money as you can but his calling is college.

Very rarely do guys like Herbstreit turn back. Like a rock band that goes pop for the ca$h—how often do they revert to their roots?

He did. And he’s been good in the past. I think he might be stretched too thin, doing the NFL and everything college football.
I hope he puts the NFL away, his calling/voice/face is ESPN-ABC college football.

Heard him last night say he lived in Cincinatti. I thought he lived around Nashville. Anybody?
He may have a place at both now with his kids older and I believe all in college or graduated college. Not 100%

The LSU internet rumors/speculation all over message boards about their little controversy, yet decided to drag Tennessee through the mud for internet board fodder in the week leading up to the South Carolina game for an alleged locker room incident.

Why would he or any national broadcaster bring up an internet rumor like that? If something real actually comes to light, he and everyone else will talk about it.

We may not want to accept it, but there was a lot of actual smoke about the locker room at TN before South Carolina. Not just message board fodder like the LSU thing.

That awkward dig he took at Greg McElroy during the first CFP show this year really embodied 2022 Kirk Herbstreit. A smug, arrogant, @sshole whose relevancy is slipping away.
I have a close acquaintance that worked with Herbie at the beginning of his career. I've not heard the man say anything negatively about any other human being other than Herbstreit. That speaks volumes to me about Herbie's character.
