Notre Dame doesnt deserve a BCS Bid

Georgia Tech and Penn St. are the only two teams they played that are worth a damn, is what I was sayin.....Taking things the wrong way

PSU is not even worth a damn, they beat one team with a winning record, Purdue.

I see what you are trying to say, that you think ND can beat FL but your basing it on conjecture. My point is they haven't done enough to deserve to play in a BCS Bowl game.

The BCS rule needs to be changed that only allows 2 teams from one conference. It should be the best 12 teams regardless of conference.

Notre Dame definitely has not looked like the #2 team in the nation this season. However, with the structure of the BCS eliminating a 3rd team from one conference, it is tough to say that Notre Dame is not one of the Top 10 BCS eligible teams. Sure, Notre Dame has two blowout losses, to teams that are seperated by .024 points from each other as the BCS #2. Who is to say that Arkansas wouldn't lose by 25 to Michigan? They lost by 36 to USC.

If you want to argue that it is unfair that the BCS is confined to at most 2 teams from one conference, then argue that. However, it's either that or the old bowl system (in which Notre Dame would still find itself in one of the 4 biggest bowls!)

Auburn has beaten 2 teams in the current top 10, Florida and LSU. ND has beaten no one but lost 2 and you expect anyone to believe ND is better then Auburn?

This is an interesting statement, simply because of what lies on the other side of this argument.

Auburn has also dropped 2 games. If Florida remains in the Top 10 (the only way for your argument to work at the end of the season), then Arkansas falls out of the Top 15. That would mean that Auburn has lost (by more than two scores) to 2 teams ranked outside of the Top 15 (one outside of the Top 25).

The way Auburn looked against Arkansas and UGA, leads me to believe they would have lost by at least 30 to USC and Michigan (if they played them on those days instead of their actual opponent.)

Again though, this point is moot since Auburn and Wisconsin are ineligible for a BCS bid. Therefore, you need to convince people that ND is not one of the Top 10 BCS eligible teams in the country.

ND last three loses are OSU, Mich, USC. That says alot. Its not crap teams they are doping games to.

The point was, them and Georgia Tech are the only teams IMO that were any good that they beat.....Not that PSU was the best team in their schedule
