Nonetheless, he held his own as a redshirt freshman on a line that helped a RB become the #1 guy at the position in the draft for next yearTo be fair, he was a starter because of injury and then was relegated to being a rotational guy buried on the depth chart later in the season, based on the article linked above. Transferring because ND returns all their starters and have a ton of depth.
The path to the field is a lot clearer here. Wish that wasn’t the case but apparently asking Elerbe to develop a recruited lineman is asking too much.
Not bad for a RS Freshman to do that on a roster completely loaded with OL talentTo be fair, he was a starter because of injury and then was relegated to being a rotational guy buried on the depth chart later in the season, based on the article linked above. He started 7 games, including a playoff game for ND. We lost 4/5 starters on our OL, and the one returning was slow and getting beat consistently in pass pro. So yes, I stand by my statementSo our team is so trash, that a reserve lineman from Notre Dame will be our best lineman?! Yall need yall ass whooped. How did we even win 10 games.
Still with Pendleton & Moe, we have two RS-Fresh./ Fresh. having to start in the rugged SEC!He went into the portal with a noncontact designation. If he is visiting UT, there is a great chance he is signing. That will solidify the interior line with the Moe signing. O-line looking pretty good with Heard, Pendleton, Satterwhite, Moe and Sanders. Start LJIII if Sanders isn't ready opening day.
