Notre Dame stinks

ok, but that's not what i'm saying. i'm just pointing out that you can still have talent on a team and still not be playing at your full potential because not all the players necessarily click, which is part of the reason why kelly has had a tough time this year IMO. that's all my point was.....nothing more, nothing less.

i'm not defending his loss today, though. i definitely agree that he shouldn't have lost to tulsa. i've been pretty surprised the way notre dame has struggled the way they have this year. i really thought they would turn it around for the most part after the loss to mich st.

Well, since we agree I guess I'll shut up now.

Is it ND that makes it's coaches feel they have to act like they have a championship team instead of rebuilding a team. I mean look at Mullen at MSU he is winning because he knows he has a team that sucks and he coaches them up but also doesn't blow games. If he needs to be conservative he does so he can win. At ND the last 2 coaches have acted like they are Bama and the play calling and how they treat there team let's them down every week. Also I bet it's hard when EVERY team you play gives you their best shot like it's the bcs championship game. They have it harder than we do. They can't even beat Navy and Tulsa. ND is a coaching nightmare.

they've had some great recruiting classes so Kelly can't blame it on not having the right talent for his system.

Yes he can. Star ranking that move with offer lists are utter garbage. ND signee ratings are self inflating. The defensive talent is worse than ours. Te'o and Floyd are the only players on that team.

funny thing about nd is they lose the games they are supposed to win. that would be like us losing to uab, vandy, ky. those games have put us in bowl games the last decade. but nd loses the 4 give me games every year so they are sad. that means your program is not even mid major level. so quit acting like you are usc, or tcu. do what you have to do to win and go home. can you imagine vandy or ky going for style points. no they get they win and try to win as much so they can go to the bowl game. i keep telling people nd is not a powerhouse. it has to be built up.

Well we did take 2 OTs to beat UAB, and there's still a chance we lose to Vandy or Kentucky. Not likely at least with Vandy but still possible.

True. Do we have ND's talent or depth?

No, and talent wasn't even brought up.

I replied to someone making fun of ND for losing games they should win and they specifically pointed out that's like "us losing to UAB, Vandy, or Kentucky".

I was at the game. First ever college game not involving Tennessee. Campus is gorgeous. Loved it up there.

But the game was just weird. Anytime Notre freakin Dame has to score its first touchdown on Tulsa using a hook and ladder, you know things are going bad. Also, they're down to freshman Tommy Reese at QB and their defense is horrible. #3 for Tulsa, (I think his name was denarius jenkins or something) was killing them all day.

I feel ashamed to say, however, that as a life long ND hater, I found myself pulling for them at the end and being just as confused and disgusted as everyone else as to why they couldn't just walk a away with a 2 point victory.

It seems everyone else in the stadium was content with it, except Kelly.
