they'd have to void a awful lot of nonconference game agreements. very much doubt they do that. the big-10 would be a much easier transition.

Is Texas on the Pacific coast? What about Colorado? If the SEC has a legit shot at Notre Dame, they won't care.

Nobody is saying Texas is on the Pacific coast, etc. Keep it southern is all i'm sayin'......

I hate Notre Dame. In fact, I hate them so much the idea of sharing a conference with them disgusts me. No thanks.

ND would make sense revenue wise, but if they're gonna let Nebraska join the Big 10, they're not going anywhere. Yeah, i'm quoting Spurrier here, but the idea makes sense: ND LIKES being independent. They can schedule whoever they want and don't have to pay fees to a conference. With all that money in a program, why join a conference?

However, I would have more respect for ND if they actually DID join a conference where they were forced to compete. That would make them at least try to turn them into the football giants they once were...
