Desperation

Watch some interviews of him around town you and can tell he hates the city. One comes to mind where he says something about wishing he was in Louisiana or something like that. He's all about the $$$. If they offered him the big bucks he would dash. South Bend>>>>>>>Tuscaloosa

It's a lateral move, so why take on the monumental task of rebuilding another program? Meyer and Saban have done it twice now (Alabama, LSU; Utah, Florida) why do it again? I dont think they leave to go anywhere except the NFL again (in the right situation for Saban).

Ihave been to Knoxville many times and I can assure you that Tuscaloosa is much nicer with an even MUCH nicer campus that UT. That is the truth.

PS. Keep dreaming that CNS leaves Bama. HAHAHA! Laughable at best! I love it though. Maybe Kiffin will go to ND, err wait, no they want a winner.

Good one. That really stung.

Please do not ever say that you are not a troll. You are a man of God, I assume, and it is a lie.

I grew up in Knoxville and I used to date a girl that lived in Tuscaloosa. So I am familiar with both.

Hands down, Tuscaloosa is one of the trashiest cities I have ever been to. It's dirty and there is nothing to do. The campus isn't bad though, I will give you that.

Don't see this happening but it could make sense. Saban IMO would be a better hire than Meyer. ND already has talent on offense to be successful with Saban rebuilding the defense they could be in a BCS game by next year especially if Clausen stays by some miracle.

I've read that Saban doesn't care for the environment and scenery at Alabama. I don't know if this is true but if it is, it would be hard to walk away from three #1 classes in a row. He has Bama in the position to go on a USC/Florida-esque run. If he were to go to Notre Dame, Bama may be the best college coaching position to ever open up. Walking into a gold mine. Zook and O left Meyer and Nutt a lot of talent. Whoever walked into Alabama is getting a sweeter pot. Much sweeter.

I'd take my chances with a new guy instead of Nick Saban. LSU hired Miles to replace Saban. Maybe Bama would fail, too. Either way, the hire isn't happening.

Saban had it rolling at LSU when he left also though. Good chance he has another National Title if he stayed there. For Saban it is all about the money. If he and his wife aren't satisfied, why the heck wouldn't he bolt for more money. Like I said I don't see this happening but I wouldn't be surprised to see Bama get the shaft.

his buyout is astronomical

......Nick Saban's buyout is: zero, nano, none!!

This is what worries the foolish Bammers. They know their Saint Nick is the Larry Brown of college football. Plus Notre Dame will always be the pennicle of college football.
