Unfortunately probably not. Espn picks who they want, and I don't know that we ever see a RB win it again. It's turned in to a QB award. He definitely deserves some talk though.

Hunter got hurt today

He was actually hurt last week. He played first half and rested second half. I don't think he should win it but the media is slobbering all over him. My main point though is only one running back can win the award unless crazy things happen and Jeanty either slumps or gets injured. Outside that a couple QBs will get invited to New York with Hunter and Jeanty.

We had 214 rush yards today, and we didn't run much until the 2nd half. Of course we missed in a few big pass plays in the first half. Too many. As many wide open throws as Nico missed, he came up huge on TD drives with two dimes. We scored 24 in the second half of a huge game

Jeanty has nearly as many rushing yards as Boise St has passing yards. If a RB wins it, he will be the guy. 9.9 ypc is ridiculous. Yeah they are playing weaker defenses, but they know he is getting the ball and he still dominates.

Oh yay, the typical “only SEC teams play defense” comment. Jeanty had 190 yards against Oregon, the now #2 team. Same team that held Judkins to 23 yards on 11 carries last week.
