Good outing for the Vols. EA did not appear gimpy. Crompton still needs work. Anyone have an old tire they could hang from a tree limb in his yard?

That was a ball game. They were solid on both sides of the ball.

Coker's 87 yard run was awesome...

It was good to see EA back out there. His timing with the receivers was pretty good considering the time off. Its great to have Coker back with his break away speed. Is Foster hurt, or is just way down the depth chart?

Never really broke out this year like we all expected... That, and I'd imagine the coaches are still a little miffed after his run-in with Johnny Law.

Pretty good performance. Would've liked to have seen more TDs instead of FGs on some of those drives, but overall, hard to complain too much about a 29 point victory.

Actually impressed by the defense as well... did a good job of consistently containing Nickson and Bennett, something Florida couldn't do.

Remember guys its only Vandy. I'm not sure any UT coach in my memory (Dickey, Battle, Majors and now Fulmer ever lost them more than once). So it's a sad state of affairs when we have to gloat over beating the "dores".

It is sad, but there is a special enjoyment to it after last year's outcome.

I know its "just the Dores", but they played Florida and Arkansas close and beat Georgia. I was pleased with the convincing win. Especially with key players coming back from injury.

Congrats on the win. Sounds like you pounced on them and they didn't get up.

Good teams do that.

FWIW, Vanderbilt is an improving SEC team. They have 2 signature wins in the last 2 years.

I had to chuckle a little when I remembered the article last nite linked from the VN homepage suggesting that Vandy has more overall talent than UT...:muahaha:

Crompton would have been fine if they had kept the first string O-line in the game.

He still needs more time and work in the offense. Even when he had time he made a couple of poor throws. He'll get better. He is a tough competitor and a leader.

I have to agree with you. That guy needs his credentials taken away.

i still think a lot of that article was tongue and cheek. just further proof that people are seriously struggling to see sarcasm and witty humor these days
