These other threads talking about the demise of UT football are a real downer. Glad to see this one! I don't feel that way at all.

If Notre Dame lost Brady Quinn, what happens to their offense? Eric Ainge is in the same league and in my estimation, the best quarterback in the SEC. You take out that guy, and bad things happen. You put him back in, and well, we saw the results (even if it was just Vandy).

I'm optimistic about Kentucky, our bowl game, and what lies ahead.

I had to chuckle a little when I remembered the article last nite linked from the VN homepage suggesting that Vandy has more overall talent than UT...:muahaha:

Yeah, Earl Bennett really showed he was the best receiver in the league...

NOW GO HOME AND GET YOUR SHINE BOX!!

How about the announcer raving about Teenessee's great tackling and blowing about how deadly they are, how they don't miss, and how they're taught to wrap up, etc. He needs to watch a replay of the LSU game, I imagine.

Tackling was pretty good yesterday, though.

(BTW, the FOX station over here, Channel 21, picked up the game so we got to see it on regular TV over here.)

Never really broke out this year like we all expected

I didnt expect him to be all-world like a lot of people did. When you put up good stats on a bad team that is usually losing, it often doesnt translate. He had those 100 yard games after the season was basically over and when the team had already quit. Im not saying I didnt think he would be good, but I didnt think he was worthy of 2nd all-sec like he got in the preseason.

Anyone else feel like the last couple weeks Hardesty has been running faster then he has all season? Its like he has the bounce back in his step.
