I agree. I would not be surprised if it is another Dooley-type hire, but perhaps with a better head coaching record (i.e., you have to look the guy up after he's hired).
if anything we have a jump on other programs that will be looking for a new HC. I don't money will be a issue considering what we and every other Vol Fan has seen in the last 3-4 years. Money talks and making sure Neyland is full along with TV and Bowls has a lot of weight. The real issue s finding someone who is willing to come in a basiclly clean up a program that is rock bottom mentally, in attitude and talent. The upport base is there.
As lifeless as the Oklahoma program is, I wouldn't be surprised if Bob Stoops might take a look at the Tennessee job. Also, he might want to get back into the most exciting conference in the country.
