My friend started "City on a Hill", since I last visited, so very likely, we will be there. I think they do it in the afternoon though, so I may be out at Cross Plains in the AM. Still working out details

I was just wondering. Our former Pastor is out there I believe its called Longwood or longwood Baptist. Its a huge Church.

Oh don't you have it great since the coaches you bad mouth to fans can't come on here and spew their side of the story. You paint too good of a picture for your side like you're helping us while trashing them. Anyone with a brain knows you have an agenda that you're selling. You're not good at hiding it....but keep trying.
The problem I have is that none of this garbage would have been brought back up if YOU hadn't mentioned it. What is that song from Frozen???

A good start might be to stay off forums and social media. I have a family member (starter) on the current team, and my policy is do not discuss anything good or bad, period. I know how players can get upset with all kinds of things on and off the field. If I had a nickel for every ayer that said things weren't going well and they wanted to leave.........
The worst thing is when there are all these other influences creeping in.

Those usually get one side of the story and little else. The coaches have to deal with a lot of crap too. Trying to keep players and parents happy. HS coaches and now handlers. Must be fun when one of players mom's shows up drunk at a game, makes a scene and gets arrested.

This is absolutely true. It certainly isn't easy for coaches to deal with 100 attitudes plus parents.

Only if we train legs. Then the triple order, scattered, smothered, diced, and peppered is all anabolic 😎😎😎

Sorry no legs for you. I'll be practicing my curling form in the squat rack!!!

Get some, Waffle House!!!

He is a really good Preacher. I go to a large church here and he pasted here for like 8 or 9 yrs I think. Took a lot of the staff with him. lol

Love when my pastor gets pasted. Just kidding, a young, charismatic pastor can change many lives

I have friends that moved to Nashville that attend there now. They love it.

Great church i loved the former pastor who died of brain cancer, and the new guy is very good too. Probably 1 of the biggest and best children's ministries too.

Great day and the new additions to the staff are making a big splash with all of the kids. Hoke and Warren will help repair relationships very fast and Wells lights up a room when he walks in. Only thing left is to put a product out to match the talk. Great day on Rocky Top

Is this from the Dooley era relationships, or something that happened now? What I'm asking who hurt the relationship between UT and NPA?

I've always hated when the term 'wrinkle' is used to imply a component of a offense. Poor metaphor.

Nobody messed up relationships with us I'm speaking of relationships all over with coaches etc who didn't like lack of player development, etc on UT end. Ignoring VFLs and recruiting suggestions. Just lots of things a for HC like Hoke, a great personality like Wells, a disciplinarian like Warren, etc can come in and help on and off the field. Guys like Debo were good guys just didnt hv any luster in recruiting. Martinez was over rated on all levels coaching and recruiting. Mahoney was just gross andnever should've been at UT. S/C program was awful and saying awful is doing no justic. So fresh new energy will help at least get attention and renewed chance as some wouldn't give with the guys from last yr.

I think the DBs will improve drastically. Talent is there to be good.

I'm just waiting on a certain LB coach to leave next. 😎

I'm down for knife fights and training. At the same time of course since I'll still be trying to get cut then.

Publicly it's been positive UT, negative UT, positive UT, negative UT. Be careful that you sound like someone who is vocal for or against you depending on how YOU'RE being "treated" by the UT staff.

If you don't give us ******** we'll spew negative publicity about you to the public and recruits. We'll praise you to everyone if you come through!!!

If you disagree then why voice your negativity so harshly here trying to turn everyone against the coaches? That's not good business unless you're crooked. Just sayin

Or......he's being honest about what he sees with the program. When he sees something positive he praises it, when he sees something negative he criticizes it. What's the problem?

This. Sure participate in the forum as a fan, not as part of your job. Anyone in this role ha s a greater responsibility being that they have personal interactions and influence with the kids.
