I could be wrong here but I though on the first series out we tried to hike it to him in the Nuke Gun and he ran directly into 2 defenders arms on the right side, like hey guys come over here and give me a hug! Is my memory failing again?

My opinion.

When you look up Immaturity in the dictonary there is a picture of a college freshman. Our staff has done well in providing the guidance & structure to make them a much better behaved subset of the general student population.

Why JJ & Nuke now? IMO they are learning. Consequences determine whether behaviors reoccur. Telling them not to do it and seeing others disciplined have an effect - but not a strong one. This is our staff's opportunity to banish this behavior from their repertoire.

I have a friend on the team. I texted him last Sunday and he knew nothing at the time other than that he missed practice. Yesterday, he texted me back to say that he had not had a chance to get back to until then but basically said that Nuke had been a turd earlier in the week, but he felt like the situation was handled and that Nuke will continue to be a Vol after the season.

Lane now faces a dilemma. If you play Nuke, you appease him but at the same time you send the message "complain, and you'll get your chance".

Don't play him and it will anger Nuke even more. Interesting situation...

Just the fact that Nuke has seen the field has everything to do with his talent. He needs to be patient, because you don't win the Heisman as a true freshman. He will be fine, just has to give it time.

People on here forget what it was like to be 18 years old away from home for the first time. I am not about being soft on this kid, but give him time. He should not get a free pass every infraction, but I hope he will have the realization that hard work and patience will get you far. He needs to buy his time, keep his mouth shut, show up, work hard...good things will happen

To be honest if its true about him telling friends and family that he would play a big part then didnt it was probably just through embarressment..i know i would be embarressed if that happened to me.

its all he said she said....it went from typical freshamn frustration that happens at every school to jimmys aunties cousins adding more and more to the story....He expected to be a big part of the gameplan with new plays they put in for him..he got disappointed and made a mistake...he will likely have a nice impact tonight and all will be good

do you understand that this was on the rivals video the same day i posted it here?????? what is so hard to understand about that? Talk to mike farrell about keeping it alive.

I understand what you're saying, but until this sites has someone's whose job is do this I dont think you can say that. Hubbs and those guy dont do anything but UT recruiting and stuff. Im actually surprised that Freak has the time to devote to this site with the job he has.
