Bulls**t.

We were pissed about Kiffin accusing Meyer of breaking an NCAA rule that didn't exist.

Nuke would have been a nice get, but he wasn't going to make or break our squad by any stretch. He likely would have been redshirted at UF, which factored into his decision to choose UT.

Go back and read your bretherns comments on gaturdsports.com when nuke dissed you guys....They were screaming and crying and whining saying kiffin cheated to get him and blah blah blah...But oh now you act like you never wanted him...So act like you didn't but everyone KNOWS you DID...PERIOD

I missed where I said I never wanted Nuke. I simply said he would have been a nice get, but he probably wouldn't have seen the field at UF until 2010.

At the end of the day it turns out he was no big loss for either school....it's just fitting the "prized" recruit Kiffin stole from Florida wound up flaming out, and the coach who recruited him left you high and dry. :eek:lol:

Give me a break. Unless you recruit a bunch of choir boys, there is no guarantee that everyone on the team will stay out of trouble, regardless of what they did or didn't do in high school. Some guys just don't know how to responsibly handle the freedom of living away from their parents/guardians for the first time in their lives, and they hang out with a bad crowd and start doing stupid stuff. The coach can't babysit 100+ college players 24/7.

I've always wanted a clear response on that video, and never got it. It doesn't seem like everyone is in agreement on what happened. The way I saw it....someone (most likely Janzen) went in the gas station, came out and got back in the car. Then that same person went to the passenger side of the cheeseburger car with Nuke to fake rob them.

It could have been Mike who went in the store and then helped in the robbery. Either way, the story the news reported was incorrect. Unless, Janzen came out of the gas station, got in the car, then switched seats with Mike in the car and who happens to look just like Janzen. Highly unlikely. I'm just treating this situation as one of those, D1 football departments are dirty, and the most talented players will get by.

This pretty much sums up the recruiting forum when a recruit doesn't choose UT.

I guess it was somewhat talented when you wiegh 145 lbs and are able to bobble multiple punts and still start ahead of Rogan.
