It's actually pretty logical when you take the time to drill down and understand the differences in the various sites. Scout has always to my knowledge - considered and weighed the entire class. So teams with large numbers will appear much stronger and be higher rated on Scout than on either Rivals or 247. I believe both of those sites either give higher weight to the top 20 in a class or don't even give any weight to players beyond the top 20.

I'm actually not a huge fan of rivals. The difference between rivals and scout is miniscule at best. 247 blows both out of the water IMO. Espn... just no.

Rivals has better sources and more analysts. It's more than a minuscule difference. Rivals and 247 are very close in terms of evaluation. Whereas Scout and ESPN are pretty far off.

If that's the case, why do coaches still choose Rivals by a wide margin? Same goes with recruits too. Scout is like RC cola

Agree with that. Rivals has to take a hit because they don't include Jucos in their rankings. That and I think 247 is better anyways. Scout is alright but I don't think as good consistently as the other two. ESPN should just stop their recruiting service or possibly buy one of the other three and try not to ruin it. They are laughably terrible in their ratings and have news that is so behind the other sites about who is favoring where.

UT is #2 on 247 now also. #4 on their composite though.

I don't think so. You may have gotten it confused with Jucos not getting the ranking bump in the final rankings. Kamara doesn't get a top 100 bump like Mckenzie does, if that makes sense
