At least looks like Smart has out talented his way this far. Even the top 10 record, there was very few anywhere near Ga. But he always slips somewhere.
Nice problem to have, don't get me wrong. But eventually something will have to give, I'd think.

Not really, every team loses games they aren’t supposed to. In 25+ years coaching, Saban only has one undefeated season. Meyer normally dropped a game against a Purdue, Iowa, or the such. Fulmer had Memphis. It happens. It took 4 TO, a pick 6, 2 missed FG, and double OT to happen. LSU game was old fashion tail whoopin. I do think he needs to keep growing and the good ones do adjust. Don’t tell Coley, but odds are against him calling plays next year. Just year 4 of the Kirby regime but no one has patience anymore and 130 teams think they should be NC.

Let this one go. Would love to have him but he’s just a TE. Not a game changing position like QB. We got Bailey and a bunch of other ballers. Now it’s time for 2021 class. GBO.

Ya. So damn funny that we get wrapped up in these kids and so few of the highly regarded ones actually deliver it seems like. At least at the skill positions. Getting bailey was really big in the class. We also got a handful of athletes that run in the 4.3’s so we got speed. And we got a handful of highly regarded dlineman. Out of the entire class we’ll only end up with 10 or 12 making a significant difference. And doubt it would end up being a tight end impacting future games significantly. It’ll likely be the qb or dlineman making the most noticible contributions. I hope he chooses us but I’ll lose exactly ZERO sleep either way. As long as were signing 25 sold kids per year and coaching them up when they get here we’ll be a 10 win team in a couple of years.
