The kid said in a recent interview that he had given a silent commitment to four different teams. Quite possibly, he did so without informing them of each other. I don't think anyone outside of a very small circle "knows" anything. Even if the words came from DW's own lips... we won't "know" anything until he reveals who he signed with.

I like the Beckwith kid better than this one if he will concentrate on football. I'd be glad to have either or both... but to me the other kid just looks like more of a natural football player.

I really hope that even if we get DW..I don't think so ...I really really hope we get Beckwith. That dude...if he really tries...has big time pro potential.

Any recruit you feel the need to preface with "if he really tries" makes me nervous. Hopefully if we take his commitment there's an understanding with our staff that he's going to bust his ass.

Personally I would prefer to see him playing for the U down in Miami if he doesn't choose the VOLS. I am pretty much either TN or out of the SEC, of course I am like that with any star recruit.
