Signing commitment papers also doesn't mean anything until they are sent in. He said he signed them. He didn't say he submitted them.Everyone keeps saying this, but I remember him saying, “I put pen to paper”. I dont recall him actually ever specifying his LOI, versus financial assistance papers, which he can sign and send in for multiple schools, but which are by no means binding. I’m wondering if that’s what he did, planning on signing an official LOI in February anyway.
But who knows for sure, this has been one big circus anyway.
I have even heard Dawg fans say that they dont see Evans making it a half of year. Not too many fans are really excited to get him because he is nothing but troubleEvans signed a LOI, but now backed out of announcing. No one knows if he's got cold feet or didn't get the required ACT score he needed. Kid's recruitment has been the strangest in recent memory. Similar to Bru McCoy.
He's been a bit above average this year at best, no where near as good as his freshman year, idk if it has to do with the WR's or if he's just regressed, but either way I wouldn't use anything above a 3rd rounder for himHe got a second to third round grade. All that matters is if a team is high on him. QB's get overvalued every year and that could be the case again. I don't know what to think about it. I've seen him make NFL caliber throws and I've seen him struggle with his deep ball.
I am absolutely not anti-AV And I was pro AV since I learned about his status on VN a couple of weeks ago. I actually referenced him last night regarding information he provided about a Cade May’s transfer waiver hoping it was true. This morning I wanted some information about his “ right” predictions since up to that point I had just accepted others peoples opinions on it the last two weeks. I regret that now because I have been hammered on it all morning. I believe AV’s has the most important info on VN regarding recruiting even though he may not be right 100% since nobody is. You have misinterpreted my posts and my intent. BTW if it wasn’t for AV’s posts , I would have zero hope for DW. With his posts , I believe there is a small possibility DW may become a Vol. I also see a positive AV post about Hardy and so I am now hopeful about us flipping Hardy. There have been all kinds of so called insiders on here that have missed and missed badly. Who cares if AV is right or wrong? You and a couple more on here want to gang up on him and for what? Cause you got your hopes up and it did not go like he said it would ? That is your fault. I think most want to see him be wrong just for post like this. You do know recruits lie and change their minds right ? He tells what he knows and that is all he can do. Have you ever said anything to where you ended up being wrong ? If you say no then you are already telling a lie. If DW ends up a Vol then you and the others will come on here and say AV got lucky or it was a 50/50 shot. If you dont like what AV posts then you and the others needs to put him on ignore but you wont because your too afraid you will miss his info.
Probably sour grapes. LSU and A&M fans did the same thing when he stopped trending with them. Not like UGA fans are above the "we didn't want him anyway" shtick. Kid's insanely talented and a take for any team. I would think most coaches would have faith in their staff to keep him in check if they land him.I have even heard Dawg fans say that they dont see Evans making it a half of year. Zach Evans
Zach Evans brother tweeted still going to Ga just can't enroll early now. Not sure why he delayed announcement because of that just what his brother is saying.Probably sour grapes. lol pretty sure that's what happened to Josh McDaniels with Tebow in Denver. Spending a pick on Fromm is risky when he doesn't have elite arm talent. Cerebral QB's are fine in college, but you need more than that in the NFL.This is true but if I'm the owner of any NFL team and my guys used any pick above a mid-2nd rounder, I'd can my entire front office and scouting dept.
