Chaney did attempt to use our TE’s but our QB missed so many targets to him and there were also some drops along the way. Your TEs just weren’t getting many opportunities. So difference is we didn’t execute on our opportunities and you all just didn’t actually give many opportunities. Our future at Qb should change that though.

It is my opinion that the TE would've been utilized more had we had better QB play. With halfway decent QB play, this team wouldve been 10-3 or better. Just rewatching the game, if we wouldve had Peyton Ramsey for the entire season at UT, we may have won the East.

Good analysis, but not sure why you then go with the UT digs. It’s also weird you act like venting about a recruit going elsewhere is somehow unique to UT fans. Fans of every school do the same thing. Just look at the UGA board in regards to the rumors that Evans wants out of his LOI.

I think that @Freak probably sepearated recruiting and general football conversation at the request of posters who were used to seeing it that way on the old Scout board. The reason the pay sites divide those subjects by forum is that the general conversation is the bait to try and get people to pay for access to "inside" recruiting scoop. Over time, a theory developed that asking tough questions in this forum could have a negative impact on recruiting because prospects and their friends and families would come here to see what we're thinking. That theory was then used as a justification for creating a highly censored, one-sided forum to discuss what is one of the two most important subjects concerning the program. I can't speak to the rationale of the forum organization and its history. I guess I see far greater influence of negatives here than you do. I think the positive side is simply more unified. You call that wolf pack. I call it like minded.

I have no problem with objective discussion. The problem is that is it rarely objective. The stars debate is a microcosm of that. A posi will say "trust the coaches", a nega will say "no stars, no want". Neither side will change their opinion, so what's the point?

Ok, this narrative that all you hope he enjoys blocking, and he won’t be used at UGA, as if he would at Tennessee has to stop. Your OC (formerly our OC, AND thanks for that by the way) inherited a 5 star tight end who made the All-SEC Freshman team, in I.Nauta. And he was criminally underused by Chaney.
But you all make it seem like he should have picked you guys because of your prolific use of your TE’s. well he are the TE Stats from 2019 for UTlite, and UGA.

Tennessee
Dominick Wood- 21 Receptions, for 268 yards and 1 td.
Austin Pope- 4 receptions, for 21 yards and 0 TD’s
Princeton Fant- 2 receptions, 15 yards, and 0 TD’s

UGA
Eli Wolfe- 13 receptions, 194 yards, and 1 TD (he had 8 reception in 3 years at Tennessee)
Charlie Woerner- 9 receptions, 78 yards, and 1 TD
John Fitzpatrick- 1 receptions, 22 yards, and 0 TD’s

2019 TE Stats Total
Tennessee- 27 receptions, 314 yards, and 1 TD
UGA- 23 receptions, 294 yards, and 2 TD’s

Summation.
Neither school used their TE’s very well as receivers. I think it is fair to say that they played a much bigger role in the running game (blocking) at UGA.
So this perception being put out that by UTlite fans that DW made a bad choice because UTlite develops TE’s better than UGA is crap. Chaney didn‘t use them at UGA, nor has he at UTlite. He will start day 1 at UGA (i dont know, he might have at UTlite as well). But he will have a much better chance at winning something at UGA than he would in Knoxville. Better academics at UGA (don’t know that this played any part in his decision as he looks to be a 3 and gone type of player).
And the perception that he trolled you all is crap. He has dropped many obvious hints that UGA was his destination.
