NY 23rd: Does the GOP go even further to the right?

At this present time I am more concerned with the fiscal side of things. I would love to have a candidate that is both fiscally and socially Conservative. But right now the fiscal side of the fence is more important to me.

I understand what you are saying here, but I am talking more in general than about what kind of candidate I want at a specific time in history due to the situation at that time. If you recall when the primaries were going on the economy was not the hot topic, it was the war in Iraq and national security. Then the economy tanked and that became the only topic really discussed during the general election. If the economy had went south earlier than it did I am pretty sure that Romney would have been the GOP candidate which would have been great.

I was disappointed when people voted for McCain and Huckaby over Romney. I just want a candidate that understands the fiscal issues and puts the Supreme Court back in their place as defined by the Constitution.

Me too, I can't stand McCain and don't trust Huckabee. I was originally for Duncan Hunter. But when he dropped out I switched to Romney.

completely agree. bush was a wackjob level social conservative and he didn't change anything really when it comes to social isssues. obama might torpedo this whole country for the next 30 years with his fiscal socialism.
