From an outside perspective, it seems like an odd first pick-up. When it comes to small, quick guards who are inconsistent shooters, the LVs are pretty well covered. A mobile post seems like the more pressing need.

My read is that the staff knows something we don't. My guess is that there is uncertainty around Wynn's recovery from her Achilles' rupture. If you assume that Wynn might not be fully ready for some significant part of next season, then this signing makes a lot of sense.

Good player, seems like a smaller version of Coop who like Coop has a lot of game. Won’t have to carry the team at UT, so efficiency should see improvement, maybe by a large margin. Athletically fits system to a T, no pun intended. Let’s see how she plays on this team, if she goes the efficiency route she will be a huge addition. If she wants to be the alpha scorer for her team again than likely CKC has to bend her thoughts.

On the twins, I think they both play 20 minutes per game in year one, they will both impact the game. Chance at least one of them becomes All SEC type, energy off the charts.

You shouldn't have to walk on egg shells here. There is nothing wrong with constructive criticism of an evaluation of player personnel. You just don't need to be insulting or personal with it. If you don't think this fits a need for the team, you should be able to explain why that is. Some of us would like to know, The others can ignore it.

I don't hold anything back for the benefit of posters. This young lady is now a Lady Vol , and I wish her nothing but the best. I said what I wanted to say - nothing more, nothing less.

Bet she’ll make more sense as we add other players. This is how it started last season, Latham didn’t make sense in a vacuum but complimented the whole portal class really well.

I see Robertson playing a similar role. Likely 10-12 minutes most games but a player that can come in and give speed, veteran play and packs an offensive punch off the bench.

She gives us more needed guard depth, which we already have way more of next season with Wynn returning and the freshman. This year if Spencer was having an off night our only backup was Boyd or Coop. This season we’re gonna have 5 kids who can run the point at a moments notice. Without taking Coop out of scoring position.

I'm picturing Cooper, Robertson and either Boyd, a Pauldo or Civil and their quicks disrupting every in-bounding attempt opponents make after we score. This past season watching Tay's steal-and-scores was a major highlight, and I'm envisioning there possibly being three sets of quick hands regularly making opponents tense up with worry over getting picked. The mental edge it could give our players that opposing coaches will HAVE to prepare their teams for us getting steals could be huge. Sure, they'll try to scheme to avoid that happening, but the seed will be planted that Tennessee is quick on quick, and I guaranTEE you opponents won't be able to counter ALL of our quickness. And when we do, those opponents will start doubting themselves -- especially when they get tired. That's when they'll start making mental mistakes, and then Tennessee will go on a run because I suspect the energy we'll get from seeing them begin to break will result in more scoring from us.

If Robertson's hands are even 75% as quick and "when to poke to ball" instincts are as good as Cooper's, we're in for a real treat next season. That may be too much to hope for, though, since Cooper is truly special in that area. We'll definitely have the quickness, though. Galore!
