Didn't vote for him... won't vote for him... I think he needs to be focused on jobs and our security. Not so much on his bracket & golf. . That goes for every member of Congress and the Senate as well..

He is really good. He did all of this while planning his trip to Rio in between golf games.

When it comes down to it, I would rather he take all of these vacations, pick the hoops and kisses babies. Then he won't have time to do any more damage to the country.

Last year Obama had UT losing in the first round, too. Last year he also had Vandy going to Sweet 16 if I remember correctly. So glad he has time to devote to his brackets.

Did Obama place the code red order to Hammy yesterday? Maybe he's got 1 trillion on the Wolverines with the Chinese and BP can be the martyr for saving this country's financial situation by coaching a tanking team to a first round loss. Holy cow. Let me ask hat if he's heard anything about this.

You're probably right. I just have my orange-colored shades on right now ... it's "go time" and I'm all in for the Volunteers! All other considerations are irrelevant. By the way, go Lady Vols, too! They are having a good run here at the end of the season. Maybe they can't get into a match-up with UCONN for the championship and take that used car salesman, Geno, down a notch or two!

Plus, I'm just trying to pretend that the Bruce Pearl situation is a bad dream that I'm about to wake up from!

Pleeeeese .... football season can't get here soon enough.

People seem to hate Obama for doing pretty much the same crap his predecessor did. I guess it's because he's on team D instead of Team R that people around here are ragging on him when they ignored the identical policies Bush enacted: corporatist domestic policy, reckless interventionist foreign policy, total disregard for civil liberties, etc.

They call us fans because it's short for fanatics

They call us fanatics because we aren't reasonable in our devotion to our team. We say and believe all kinds of stupid things for emotional reasons.

Now when you combine that with politics you get something far worse. When it comes to poliical beliefs people tend to think in the same bizarre and irrational manner as they think about their team. Except now they are under the false impression that they arrived to those beliefs via reason and sound thinking.

Hence you will see this kind of "hypocrisy" (though doublethink is a better word honestly). Do you honestly think Tennessee fans are as hard on pearl as they would be if it were cal in the exact same position? When you think about the fact that these opinions are formed on emotional ties and not rational thought it is not only unsurprising but expected.
