Obama on O'Reilly...

Part 3 of the interview just aired, it was about his personal relationships. Obama really does deliver a poor performance in an unscripted situation.

Like Keith Olbermann or not, at least he lets his guest finish their answers without cutting them off.

O’Reilly cuts people off and is overly argumentative in order to distract the viewers from his ignorance of most of the topics he talks about.

Part 3 of this interview series was a particularly poor showing for Obama.

His categorized the scrutiny surrounding his relationships with Wright, Pfleger, and Ayers as "classic guilt by association."

That doesn't work for me.

Obama calls out Sean Hannity for the 5th time, yet amazingly lacks the courage to face him directly.

And the last segment is on. Has Obama touched Bill's knee more or less than 20 times in this 4 part series?

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed his uncontrollable need to do that every time O'Reilly gets a bit intense with his questioning.

It just really looked weak. I was required to take a communications class at UT that helps with speaking and dealing with people. Evidently, this class was not on Obama's schedule at HARVARD.

class was there, but the Law Review staff probably got to just audit it.

Yea, I figured it was there, just not on his schedule. I'm sure he had more important things to learn.
Seriously, I don't know if it was there or not, but I'd bet he took it and the professor, along with BHO's classmates, likely slobbered all over himself to proclaim Obama the next Churchill.

In addition to his nervous knee touching, Obama uses a lot of direct finger pointing at O'Reilly during this interview series.

He also answers every question with an initial stall tactic such as:

- "Look...uh..."
- "Listen...uh...."
- "Like I've always said...uh...."

He rarely dives directly into an answer...he always needs a buffer to help him collect his thoughts.

The Obama supporters will say I am letting my bias kick in, but I really don't think the guy is that sharp in a non-scripted situation.

After watching Obama on Bill's show, I really can't wait for the debates. It should be very interesting.

I think Obama's sharp. He's intelligent, well-spoken, and well-informed.

He's just not "presidential" in non-scripted situations. He doesn't seem as crisp, concise, and composed as you'd hope a presidential candidate would be.

I am hesitant on how sharp I am willing to consider a person that holds views like his. Can he digest, retain, and speak of his knowledge? Yes. Can he translate that knowledge into sensible ideas? That I do not see.

in the segment dedicated to Obama's associations, Obama tried to claim that he never heard Wright speak the anti-American garbage and that he had no idea it was going on. O'Reilly pointed out that the church bookstore sold a DVD containing the sermons that have been excerpted. Obama had no answer to that and while I could only listen, I'm sure Obama had a really dumb look on his face.
