Obama to address the Nation. (Osama bin Laden is dead)

Former President George W. Bush congratulated President Obama and the members of the military after learning that the U.S. has successfully killed Usama Bi Laden.

“This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001.,” Bush said in a statement. “The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.”

I supported Bush... I feel like Obama is going to use this as a platform for his campaign in 2012.

You play the cards you're dealt. He's going to have to be careful though, because some of his base will see this as a green light to withdraw all troops, and he'll have to straddle a line between Defense and the non-interventionists.

this is a link to the picture that is a photo shopped fake...so if you see this picture then it isn't real. This is from an article written while Bush was still in office

link

pretty obvious that it is photo shopped if you ask me

I know that...but he has not done anything what he has said.. Don't want to get into political affiliation battle but Obama was against this war and everything.

No arguement, but he was against the iraq war more so. I believe he stated that we should take out osama.

I just wish I could have seen Osama's "Oh Face" when the Seals came barging through.

I'm naive, but they were just talking about our ability to pull up satellite images from 2004-05ish when the mansion was being built and actually see the layout of that building as it was being constructed. Just amazes me.

Another was whether US troops pulled the trigger or if it was one of his own men.

I don't care who shot him, just as long as he is dead.

There is a pic floating around from Express News that shows Bin Laden post mortem.

I don't know if it's legit, but it looks quite real. To one of the mods, is it ok to post a link for those who may want to view it?

I didn't mean that with disrespect toward our troops

I never thought you did, but if who they are saying it was really did it, it would have been quite quick and I doubt there would have been much (if any) confusion on our side. It would have looked like a practice scenario. These guys are that d*** good.
