All electricity and communications knocked out in the area prior to the raid (and restored immediately after), new stealth helicopters used in the operation.

Oh, and that some parts of the destroyed helicopter might be on their way to China. Nice.

They're interested in the material composition and structure as much as anything, and there is undamaged exterior material all over that tail.
