and the Secret Service would have to triple its man power! BHO would be a fool to put HRC in as VP! Its been said the Clinton's have killed before!

BHO might be more evil than the Clintons. He looks very squeaky clean..never know what lurks underneath.

Neither of them can get to the magic number prior to the convention.

Obama could conceivably win roughly 75% of the remaining delegates, he'd been on quite a roll until last night. Clinton on the other hand has no chance to win 100% of the remaining delegates. IMO he's a lock to have more delegates and the nomination.

Hillary is shooting for the big "mo" going into the convention. She is going to get the do-over's she wants in Mich and Fla. She's trying to put a freeze on super delegates casting support to Obama, and that the end of the day, her hit squad will make Courtney Cox of "Dirt" look like Carol Brady. The media are going to get non-stop memos from the Clinton camp on Obama's dealings, and shady land deal with Tony Rezko, then his relationship with Rev. Wright, William Ayers, comments on NAFTA, and the "America bad" ramblings(verbal, and written) of Michelle Obama. He seemed a bit flustered in San Antonio, being pressed for the first time about some of these issues, so the next couple of weeks will be great theatre to say the least.

let them fight it out. it only helps the reps in the long run.. Hillary is basically doing all of the things that Mccain will have to do in the fall.

If the "will of the people" is to be followed, then the Super Delegate vote isn't clear either. Including MI and FL, Obama's popular vote lead is only in the neighborhood of 3000 votes. It's much more substantial without those two states, but the way things are going, they're going to run primaries again before the PA primary in April.

The Democrats have really painted themselves into a corner on the whole MI/FL delegate issue. If they seat the delegates, they will effectively disenfranchise the majority that voted Obama. If they don't seat the delegates, they effectively disenfranchise two huge electoral blocks.

I can't think of a nicer guy for this to happen to than Howard Dean.

I really wonder if Obama can win the general election? Personally, I think Hillary is the stronger candiate. If the polls are accurate, people are not feeling all that worried about Iraq right now. The economy is front and center and I think Obama will be hard pressed to convince anyone that he can fix the economy.

Rasmussen is probably the most realiable poll they use in that compilation. I saw Ford Jr. with huge numbers and Corker is sitting in the senate now. Other than South Carolina I just don't think Obama will carry any southern states and I think McCain will take a couple from the Ds in the west.

I asked this question in another thread: "What if" Steve Forbes is right and the next 2 quarters show big gains, and the economy becomes less of an issue, will the Dems spin it as volitile, or do they choose another issue to hang their political hat on?

Most polling to date shows Obama with a significantly better chance at beating McCain than Clinton's chance.
