I would like to know why in the world that guy was allowed to stand there with a billy club. There are no reports of actual voters being kept out of the polling place - or turning away out of fear - but still....it makes no sense. If there had been no problems, it would be almost as bad for even a police officer (black or white) to be standing there with a club out...but at least a police officer has the job to protect/secure.

I think that this is a non-issue because the police took care of it, but still...it is an embarrassment and never should happened. And...you better believe I would feel uncomfortable walking by a guy who isn't a police officer and is holding a billy club.
