Congressman 4 years, US Senator 22 years is greater than US Senator 2 1/2 years

So if the numbers of years of experiene matter, you must be really disappointed with your VP pick then?

Oh that's right, she's a Republican so it doesn't matter that she has less then 2 years of experience as Governor. You only need to have experience, and it must be executive experience, if your a democrat running. If you a Republican, then you dont need experience or executive experience. But obviously, you guys aren't biased toward the Republicans.

You would vote for a guy who bankrupted an oil company but rail a guy who does not have what you deem the required experiance.
yes. additionally, I am diametrically opposed to almost everything in Obama's platform.

No I am arguing that their experience is equal (slight not to Palin) and that is what is making this argument about her "inexperience" by democrats so entertaining.

but she does have executive experience where he has absolutely and unequivocally none. There is no debate about his executive experience because he has none. There is actually nothing to talk about regarding any executive decision he has ever made. Nothing, nada, zilch, zero, none, not a lick, void, doesn't exist, ain't got any, cero.

This absurd apples and oranges debate is the only way you can continue to put forth this silliness.

Find a new angle. Attack policy stands or something else before you undermine any little shred of credibility that you have remaining.

BPV I think my main concern is the troops because I want them back in the US.

Just imagine if we used more of our own oil. How many less soldiers would it take to protect oil on our soil than on foreign soil?

It doesn't matter. She should be just as qualified (or experienced) as the president and be ready to take over if needed. I think McCain even said that a few months ago, and there is no way this lady is ready for that. He knows it, and everyone else does to.

Pretty tough to be profitable when oil was at $15 a barrel and it cost between $2-8 million to drill one well

Oh, then if qualifications matter in the slightest, you'll be saying the same things about Obama here momentarily.

Great, I'll be waiting.

And what does that do to make Obama a better alternative?

But Obama is? Even though they both have a thin resume?

Do you even realized you just made the best case against Obama?

that's a red herring. Obama ain't bringing the troops home either.
Yea. Where I like McCain is the POW time he spent holds alot of weight with me. Yes that does not mean he will be a good pres. but it makes me want to vote for him.

So to sum things up:

If your a democrat, experience as a U.S. Senator is bad, because it's not executive
If your a republican, experience as a U.S. Senator is good

If your a democrat, inexperience makes you a bad candidate
If your a republican, inexperience is irrelevant its the title of the position you had is what matters.

Is that clear for everyone now?

to further sum things up:

If you have the mental capacity of a vampire bat, you should avoid making any broad statements.
