...being able to have something as basic as health care

But you're mandating prices on someone's ability to earn a living. These doctors should be able to set any price they want as long as the market can support it, pretty similar to attorney's setting prices.

This bill is going to lead to theft of a doctor's time at a greatly reduced cost.

If you equate cars and boats with being able to have something as basic as health care, then I'm sorry as well.

Who exactly are we talking about that cannot afford health insurance and why can't they afford it?

serious que, i know its goin to come off racist, but people from every race do it. you see people who live in not the greatest of houses, or apts, etc...but you look in the driveway and you see they have a nice car, or a car on some expensive rims, or both. or you'll see one of these honda civics that sound like a lawnmower and has neon lights on the bottom of the car. you telling me they can't afford insurance? they sure as hell could afford rims, and a fancy car. i knw some ppl don't do that, but you see where i'm going with it.

I know what you are saying, this falls under the category of having your priorities out of order and as a consequence those that fall into this category will usually not get themselves into better financial shape until they put needs first and worry about the wants later. There are many kids who grow up being taught bad habits from their parents at an early age and IMO it is a big reason we see so many multi-generational cases of dependence on government for basic needs.

This is not a problem of black, white, yellow or what have you. It is simply living beyond your means and every economic class of people are guilty of it to some extent.

I'm not.

I ask because I can't figure out why you don't want hard working Americans to be healthy and contribute to society.

(amidoinitrite?)

I want the same thing you do, the vehicle is where we disagree.

Free people should never give up their freedom to gov't.

I do, it is a never ending battle.

I have no desire to live in a socialist or theocratic country.
