I have just finished up watching Maniac on Netflix. It is absolutely bonkers but also very funny, very engaging, and ends up being kind of sweet as well

Profit with Adrian Pasdar. Only aired 8 episodes. Before it’s time drama where he portrayed a creepy schemer type plotting against his coworkers and upper management.

What We Do in the Shadows on FX. It's documentary style like The Office. Except this is about vampires. First episode was ok. A little slow in parts. However the 2nd episode was top notch.

Has anybody watched "Deadly Class"? I'm about halfway through the first season and it's pretty solid. It reminds of Umbrella Academy a little bit, and before you say "ugh it's a SyFy show, so is Happy and it's awesome.

It wasn't bad. I'd definitely watch season 2 whenever it comes out. Syfy has stepped up their game some on shows.

bignewt- never saw the movie. Didn't know there was one.

You should, the movie is really funny. Helps set the stage for the show.

Also, I liked Deadly Class it was very much the same mood as Happy. Had that graphic novel feel. And Lana Condor is hot af.

Yes it has. I liked Defiance and Dominion then of course SyFy dropped them.


The movie is really funny.

Finished Deadly Class, it's pretty good. Like Newt mentioned it has a similar feel as Happy. So I'd recommend it if you liked Happy.

If any of y'all like Super Troopers, who doesn't, you'll probably enjoy Tacoma FD on Tru Tv. Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme (Farva and Mac) are firefighters in this one. No other cast members from Super Troopers yet, but one is making an appearance next episode.

It's very similar, but different enough. Similar writing, jokes, ect but they're not complete screw offs in this one. They're actually good at their job. I'm liking it better than Super Troopers 2.

Its funnier than I thought it would be, the supporting cast is actually very good.

If you are into historical fiction Versailles and The Last Kingdom on Netflix are definitely shows you wasn’t to check out.

not sure how obscure it is, but Killing Eve is pretty darn good..........and Into the Badlands if you'd be in to modern day special effects version of kung fu....
