close to 80% of the 2019 class is signed so unless FSU is planning on getting the remaining 4 and 5*s it aint gonna matter. Forgot where I saw the Anonymous poll asking current Head Coaches who the most over rated D1 coach was and it was a resounding Willie Taggert.

Decommits qnd flips will happen right up to and including on NSD. Anything can happen.

Found the poll it was a CBS sports news poll and 20 percent voted for Taggert and 20% voted for Franklin with the remaining 60%
Split among 7 coaches with Lane and Kurt Ferentz both got 13%

Yet Canada has a solid track record of development and game planning. Itā€™s actuallt crazy that heā€™s been somewhat successful with as many jumps as he makes.

After the way this has all played out I don't think that Briles would be a good fit here. Just gives me the impression that he sabotaged Houston and Applewhite. If he is truly FSU bound then Taggert better watch his back. Only thing I can think of is a bonus for coaching the bowl game. If that is the case he should have done the respectable thing and resigned before the bowl game and give Houston a chance to replace him with someone who would at least try to win it.

Very glad he's not our new OC. Takes some real cognitive dissonance to rationalize a Briles hire in the wake of the Schiano disaster.

Hope we never settle for coaches with these sorts of character questions.

Before signing day I could see OCs concerned about our oline talent. Pruitt and Friend hauled in a net full of oline talent and it is likely to get better. A decent OC could come in and get credit for a real offensive turn around. With some improved line play Pruitt will be able to attract top QBs and RBs.

Pruitt will find more DL help for next year. The guy is connected and will find grad transfer etc.

I know we are trailing UGA and AL but when we catch them we will be in the playoff.

I am amazed with the recruiting given our past decade. With some on field success Pruitt and Co. may really recruit with the best. I feel like he can also recruit a great OC.
