I thought everyone would know I'm joking. I fully support CBJ.

Glad there are many that agree and I like your support.

I could understand the frustration this year with Dooley and most of the complaining was justified but now? Come on people Butch Jones is our coach and is going to be for at least 3-4 years hopefully much longer. Are you just going to be miserable all your life? What about the players currently on the team do they deserve this kind of fan support? It's only 6-7 weeks until signing day and recruits do read these boards. If you hate the hire or just don't like CBJ fine but why keep beating a dead horse on here. Can't you just not STFU in the best interest of the program you claim to be a fan of. If you had a sit down meeting with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would you complain to him about President Obama? Follow what I'm saying? Yes an extreme example but I remember like yesterday laughing at all the ignorant Alabama fans who did nothing but whine and complain for at least a decade. I remember thinking I'm glad our fans aren't like that. Now we are just like that only worse. Man up for this University and football program and quit your whining. There is a time and place for everything and the time for whining ended yesterday.

When you hire a coach that your previous coach was able to beat, it does not bode well to boost confidence.

When we beat Cincy in 2011, that was a team in rebuilding coming off a 4-8 year with very little confidence. By the end of the year, Cincy was a top 25 team and we ... well, you know where we were.

It would have been pretty interesting to see how this year's Tennessee team would have stacked up against Cincinatti, say, in November?

Butch Jones' teams over-achieve. If we need anything right now, it's a coach who tends to get the most out of the talent he has. Why can't you embrace our new coach instead of pouting about it?

Your pessimism may eventually prove to be the correct point of view, but we've made our hire. As I tell my 5 year old, pouting about it isn't going to change a thing.

All of the fans that are upset with this hire or want Cheek fired or want Hart fired or feel like Gruden needs more love should leave their computers, cell phones and start an Occupy Neyland protest.

I think its a swell idea.:eek:k:
I was thinking maybe we could convince Gruden himself to come to campus to lead the protest and have a rally. That would bring all the grudenites out and we could get them all at once, I suggest a slow acting poison so they die at home and not on campus.

No one is poutting, just my opinion on the situation. Just like it makes zero sense to hire a coach that lost to the coach you fired. Don't hand me the BS about this or that, I am fed up with excuses over the past 3 years. Dooley was the worst coach in TN history, he led UT to new lows in conference play (0-5 to start conference play for 3 consecutive years), but yet not only did a Dooley led team beat Cinci, they destroyed them.

Color me jaded but his accomplishments should all have asteriks because he never won them out right at Cinci. I hope he comes in here and proves everyone wrong who question this hire, me included.

The way we return is thru recruiting, the best recruiting tool is winning. In order to win you need the best players possible, only problem is you are recruiting against some very strong coaches and universities. Winning cures a lot of recruiting struggles, this is where you seperate the men from the boys and it defines the elite conference teams.

Go Vols 2013!
