maybe slurs against the white players? Who knows. Wonder which player was spat upon? Surely they have proof of that.
He said the fans used the "N" word...they have a white coach and mostly white players...we have an all black team and a black coach. I have never seen any of the fans at a woman's game act out. It's an older crowd actually and more subdued. It could have happened....but I doubt it very seriously...none of it happened the way it was told. He's an idiot and wasn't even there at the spot it supposed to have happened at. There is always plenty of event staff people there so no one would have gotten away with it.

Keep it going Staley.

And it happens all the time at sporting events... don't act like this is new. I've been spit on and called names, even was heading into the stands.

Staley, you should sue for more money, 500,000.

That has not been my experience with SC WBB fans. I'm sure there are nice folks like everywhere. But at the SEC Tourney and in Columbia there was significant name calling, threatening to fight. Two women in our group felt unsafe after being harassed for an hour and found other seats near TN fans.

The racial makeup of the teams does not completely mirror the crowd. There are certainly white SC fans that could have used the N word against Mizzou. It's not even a stretch to think so.

I don't think Staley would tell someone to use the N word. But that is not what was alleged.

I think Mizzou AD should have walked it back because public comments do nothing to ease this situation. And it was against SEC conduct rules to make these public comments.

But I don't think Staley will win a dime in court.

Prolly won't, but it is sending a message to other ADs across the country, don't call out a coach for promoting HATE, when you know that's not the case. Dawn Staley represented this country so well, her whole life, and to be called out like that,it's on, its WAR! And I would drag it out til all his money is gone.

Who's knows??? if the court is in South Carolina, she might win more money. ijs lol
