Offense points per game compared to last year

Also I'm sure the rushing versus passing stats are skewed the other direction as well.

I'd toss in Rivera and Z. Rogers for good measure.

The solace I find is in the running game and defense. With a competent passing attack this team is capable of beating UF at minimum. It's so crazy how the coin is completely flipped.

And looking to next year, we lose both lines.

Not only that, but if we could just sustain three or four drives that were four or five mins long that'll give our defense 15-20 mins off the field. The only way for us to beat GA, Bama, etc is to sway the TOP toward our favor in a 35min-25min split.

This was a major issue we had last year. Bray wanted the big highlight reel plays, and the coaches would get pissed because he would F-up the game plan. Plenty of times last year where short drives by the O put the D in a bad situations. Couple that come to mind...UF game after the stopped fake punt by the D, that all love to bash, and the O goes 3 and out. And hear comes out a tired depleted D. Mizzou where the O was given 2 chances in the 4th to pad the lead but they failed 2 putting the tired D out back out there...again and again.

Let's just hope CBJ "gets it" enough to figure out how to get this O to do what we need to keep the D off the field. I don't think this year he has a rogue QB, so I'm just hoping the rumors of him being able to coach players to be better than they r starts to show...ASAP!!

Our only prayer there lies in the read option and one of the freshman. That's one area where the read option can help. Not in the way Worley is running it though.

That sounds more like it. I wonder if someone could figure out what percentage of those points were accounted for by Bray, Patterson and Hunter.

Bray had 14 TD passes in those games.

Patterson had 4 scores total, 2 runs and 2 catches.

Hunter had 4 scores.

Rivera had 3 scores.

Z. Rogers had 2 scores.

AJ Johnson had 3 rushing scores.

I keep hearing that Worley is doing well in practice

Assuming continued good recruiting the earliest we are a well rounded team is 2015.
At that point we'll have SOPHMORE+ DL/OL/LB/TE/RB , and JUNIOR WR/DB/QB

190 points total offensive points.

Bray - 52% of total scoring. 40% to 4 players.

Patterson - 7.3% rushing, 7.3% receiving.

Hunter - 15%

Z. Rogers - 7%

Rivera - 11%

I rounded to nearest number and included extra points for quickness. This is for the first 5 games.

Neal last Saturday??

I've never thought Neal was that bad. He's improved but I still remember that gashing run he made coming through the line against UT-Martin. It was literally one of his first attempts. He put one hand down on a near tackle and kept running. It may be the best run of his I can remember.

Running game suffered previously due to OL scheme and offensive scheme. The only difference this year is we are making the run a priority and getting better downfield blocking. I love me some CP and JH but their down field blocking was attrocious.

Let me try Another.

Palardy???

Best example. 4 years. Also supposedly they were being stupid with him in practice and injured him. To my knowledge Worley is not injured.

If Palardy was not injured correct me but that is my understanding.
