Offense Wins Thursday Scrimmage

As usual the offense loses the first scrimmage and comes back with vengeance and wins the second one. Let's see who wins the orange and white game.
Gbo!

I hate inter squad games. If the offense does well it might mean your defense is bad and visa versa.

Somewhat agree. Hugh Freeze came out this past week in support of an idea that allows smaller schools, like D2, to scrimmage D1 schools in the spring.
Not say that I'm completely against it, but in a scrimmage setting you have control as a coach over who plays and in what situation and contact vs non-contact, etc.
How would all that be controlled in an extra-squad scrimmage?
Would they take the NFL model and adapt?

I love it. When the message is that the defense did well, the sky is falling that the O isn't that good and we will miss player X. When the O does well, the D is going to be horrible. This is the second scrimmage. I strongly believe that the team looks good and our coach is definitely one that bodes not like his offense to stagnate.

Keith and Bishop probably won’t play except in cupcake games unless we have several injuries again.
