I don't like saying a team didn't win, and that we lost it.... but transition D really did kill us in this game. Without the multiple open court layups behind the defense this game isn't that close.

But is that UT's fault for taking advantage? No. We suck for not playing defense and deserve getting our asses handed to us.

Yes. Our playing to your strength by abandoning the transition game let you back in, with some officiating help early in the second.

We had taken Cousins out and made you guys a one man team. The slow down changed that.

to hell with Time Warner Cable in NC.. With the game tied up and less than a minute to go they switched over to the UNC/Wake game.

I live here in NC as well... I was freaking out, so I jumped online and CBS had a live video feed online for free where I watched Hopson nail the 3 and J.P. prince have an out-of-body experience by nailing 4 free throws in a row...

WOW, what a rush!!!

Just think, if we played this inspired every game, we could be elite-8 caliber...

My props go out to Maze, Goins and Prince for this game... They all had really good games, especially prince... He stepped up shooting with both of his 3's and the F/T's he made...

Awesome win! Why are you so negative right after it? Very lame. We've beat the #1 and #2 teams in the country, two of their combined 3 losses, and with really bad officiating to boot. This team could do some damage in the tourney, and anyone that can't see that is foolish. That isn't a guarantee that we'll get to the final four (there are no guarantees in the tourney), but we won't play a harder team than Kansas or Kentucky and we won't get worse refs either... I am excited about this postseason! :dance2:

Good D enhances bad shooting nights.

We played solid D, UK missed some shots they normally hit, from there it kinda snowballed.

10-15 point game.

UK is still one of the best 3 teams in the country. (#1 in talent alone)

Someone said the other day, can't remember who, but I think it was on Rivals Radio, the Vols havel all the potential to make it to the final four, but they could also go out in the first round...ya just never know with them!!
