Just an observation, but does Oregon not have any AA cheer leaders? All I have seen is page after page of very pretty Whites and Asians.

Not trying to start a mess here, but is it photographer selection, or an accurate reflection of reality there?

Yes they're have been a few. There's only one on this years squad. She's in a couple of the photos people posted.

Alcoholics Anonymous?

Damn good question. Perhaps tradition??
I would have to think that is a school decision.
Vol girls are hot, need to venture out a little more.
OR
Oregon has Nike.
Tennessee has Adidas.

For the record, Adidas America is HQ in Portland not more then 15 miles from the Nike campus so I joke about the Nike v Adidas thing. I wear both interchangably.

Oregon Cheerleaders have always had short little skirts going back to the 80's.

If you have seen the movie Elizabethtown, that opening scene where he is flying the Helo through Downtown Portland lands in front of the Adidas Campus just outiside of Downtown Portand.

Anyways, Under Armor and Adidas are always playing catchup to Nike but when it comes to "Uniforms", all the new stuff and stuff no one ever see's starts with Oregon.

Maybe the practice has changed in the past few years, but I know that Tennessee would only take cheerleaders with gymnastics backgrounds and very strict height and weight requirements.

I had a family member that went to tryouts only to find at 5'7" she was several inches too tall.

I believe this is the case with most SEC schools. Now majorettes are a different story. I would put Alabama's up against any one else's.
