Also for a new head coach of the University of Tennessee he (IMO) hasn't had much face time in the media....at least from what my family back there in Knoxville are telling me.

I agree with the different part. Funny how "Face Time in the media",however, is a two edged sword.

It could be that he is less experienced, and thus less able to see the advantages.
It could be that he isn't an egomaniac.
It could be that he is secure in who he is and doesn't need ESPN to validate it.
It could be that he doesn't have time for that now.
It could be that he isn't trying to "Redefine" Tennessee.

Oh for a one handed economist ! :)

That's because he isn't here, unless there are recruits on campus. He's out there with the players. I personally wouldn't think much of him if he was in Knoxville doing interviews when he has three weeks to assemble a recruiting class!!!!!

I hear we'll have 7 spots left, and those are my top 7 as well. Great minds think alike!

Crump if we can't get a 340 lb NT or another DB. You can never have enough of either of those positions.

He's doing what he needs to do for the best interest of this team. He's gettin' in front of recruits selling the University of Tennessee football program.

so assuming Williams and Copeland head elsewhere.tht leaves 7 spots correct? Who do yall think we take.

I think it will be Glass, Ambles, Rogers,Clark,Stone, Robinson, and either Crump, another OL, or Mcneil.

what do you guys think?

Sab just did the big informative update on recruiting. It's the most comprehensive up to date summary I have seen. Hats off to him!

My gut feeling is that we won't get both Ambles and Rogers.
But I sure as hell hope I'm wrong.

That would make Bray's job so much easier (and opposing D's jobs so much harder) over the next few years.

Yeah, I realize they're not foolproof. I also think if Bennett had committed, we'd see it on tweets & posts. So wait, what's "helping of crow"?

Just yanking your chain. :p Happens to me too.

A few days ago I "corrected" a poster in this thread when he said D. Robinson was visiting UT on 1/29. My "correction" was based on both Rivals & Scout showing him visiting Ole Miss on 1/29. I got flamed for believing Rivals & Scout "out of date" info.

Yeah, haha, I've seen ppl get called out for using TOS info before. Still don't know what that phrase means. Was trying to see if it was a good un I could use.

On another note:

I'm concerned about a couple recent commits, or "commits". Crump, Propst, Sapp. I have to trust the staff. In their evals of these players, but also that if they are on the fence w them, that they will not have actually offered a scholarship yet. Anyone confirm this? Clark I'm excited about. The others, wary. Are they "commits" in that they're committing their services, but have not been offered a scholarship yet? I know that Crump "committed" a couple days ago, but was told by staff to wait, right? I wonder if this is similar. Sort of a pending commit?...

Any insider ballas on here confirm anything?
