Official 2014 Summer Baseball Thread

Welp, not going to be any games today and I saw that UNLV released their schedule on Monday. As anticipated, our series with them is done.
Last year UT released the baseball schedule on Aug. 30th. They also announced a "free scrimmage" for Oct. 25th around that time.
This year we play Bama at home on that date, it would be great to have the scrimmage on that day before the football game.
I can't wait to check out the schedule, all I know at this point is that we will be playing UC Irvine, out there I believe.

As the 8th seed, Brewster plays the 1 seed. That game will start at 9 PM due to a rain delay. Andrew Lee gets the start on the mound and he's also the DH batting in the 3 spot.

Andrew Lee's summer is now over, Brewster lost 5-0, Lee was 0/4...
VJax, Simcox and Owenby will continue, at least one more game after splitting the first two with Orleans...Simcox had a lead off single in the 8th and went 1/4 on the day.
Owenby came on with 1 out in the 8th, final line: 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 SO, unfortunately, his playoff stats don't count towards his ERA...he hasn't allowed a run in his last 3 appearances.
In the top of the 3rd, Houser's Harbor Hawks are trailing 3-0, a loss today will mean he is done for the summer.
