A lot of Vol fans love looking thru those smoke-colored glasses.

I can hear it now. No matter who UT plays in a bowl, the Vols will dominate from beginning to end.

Some people are positive, some realistic, and some negative. It's a fact of life. Deal with it. Just because some "positive" fans are hoping for a blowout, it doesn't mean they are ignorant fans. Give me a break.

vol1981....I hear you man, trying to make any sense, you'll get smacked. No one likes to hear anything except Vols are great, we have a well oiled machine here, and no worries. Do not mention anything about close calls, embarrasing losses, and no SEC titles. But I hear you man, this should be an open forum, just letting you know you're not alone.

I can't decide if FlyingVol or vol1981 is VolNavy01. I am going to go wth Vol1981, only because the irony of VolNavy01 switching to FlyingVol is just too great.

Well, one of them feels our present government is filled with mediocre individuals. What that has to do with the price of tea in China? I have no idea.

Mediocracy: government or RULE by a mediocre person or group.
You could say that the football team is a Metaphor for the government, or rule if you will, and the mediocre person is the coach. I think it is fitting. But then again, just another observation.
