I am going to recommend we use collegehoopsnet because their guy is supposedly the most accurate over the last 4 years(that includes lunardi, parish etc etc)Here's a bit about the guy...

Why Pay Attention to What I Have to Say: Collegehoops.net's projections have consistently proven to be the best in the business. Over the last 4 years, Shawn Siegel is the #1 ranked Bracketologist according to the Bracket Project. This ranking includes the likes of Joe Lunardi, Gary Parrish, Jerry Palm, and Andy Glockner.. none of whom come close.

As always, the field below is a prediction of what the committee would do as things stand today, not what they should do. This is done by taking into account standings, polls, computer rankings, and the committee's historical biases. Check out the follow up Bubble Watch for updates about teams on the NCAA Tournament Bubble, and NITology for a ranking of the best of the rest.

With that said here is the link to his bracket...
Bracketology: Tennessee In, VCU and 11 Seed, Drexel Out | College Basketball by Collegehoops.net

currently has tennessee in as a 13 seed.

I'm gonna add Bracket Matrix as well as they give a good average and you can see what 70 different bracketologists think.

13 bracketologists have Tennessee in the field

If Tenneasee is in now, according to his projections, I assume a loss in the first round (Friday) knocks us out, but a win may be enough to keep us in?

yes.

1 win and i think we would be knocked out, but could work back in depending on how many bubble spots there are.

2 wins and we should be a lock.

Off topic, but wow. How do you have time to post so much in so little time? Not bashing, but I just realized you joined in Jan of this year haha.

This is one of the most inspiring sports teams of my 4+ decades lifetime. That being said, we absolutely must win our first SEC Tourney game if we are to break into the dance. I think we will beat Ole Miss/Auburn winner, and I think we'll get in! Here's hoping...

Why don't you just worry about yourself, and not others? He actually brings great info to the board. Mmmmkay?

Lol I'm not bashing what he brings to the board. I like what he says. But I didn't realize until now how much he's posted in such a short time.

After I typed out an apology to u the other night about being sorry for fighting with you in another thread, and having you completely ignore it, I have nothing further to say to you. Have a great night.

I agree with you on this team. I'd also put Pearl's first year team as another inspiring squad...maybe even more than this one.

Being up on Ohio State by 20 in the first half was nothing short of amazing. We won't talk about the second half...:p

He's also the first one to bash others who have a different opinion if what is relevant or correct. Went nutso yesterday.

And who's to say what's relevant? It's all relevant at this point because of our precarious position and the incalculable variables that govern our fate.
