I'm excited about Vol basketball and today's addition of Cofer.

I would like to attend the Battle 4 Atlantis and take my family. Will the games be on Thanksgiving and the following Friday and Saturday? Also will there/are there usually travel packages out of Knoxville for events like this? It would be more fun to plan the trip with other Vol fans. GBO

Got to sleep on it, and I'm really excited about the Cofer commit. For people concerned about the 3* ratings, yes we'd rather get a bunch of 4 & 5*s, but this kid obviously has a ton of upside. Strong, athletic, experienced in scoring and rebounding, and plays with tenacity. I can all but guarantee Cofer will be an excellent Vol.

All seriousness though, he's been a guy who's steadily climbed the rankings and may very well end up being a 4* across the board by the time he signs. His new composite ranking is just outside of 100, so he's already almost a top 100 player.

Yeah, that's only one 4*rating out of the big 4. Most people would assume he's not that talented because of it, but you and I disagree with that idea.

Yea I know. He's about 25 spots from getting a 4th star on 247, and about 40 spots from a 4 star on rivals. The way he has confined to climb I think he'll ultimately end up being a 4* on both by the time he signs. JMO

Also, Cornish is about 50 spots from a 4th star on 247, and 30 spots from 4th star on rivals.

So...both are commits aren't far from actually both being 4*, I'd say odds are at least one of them gets the bump by signing day...im very happy with our 2 early commits.

Brian Williams's Filipino team San Miguel Beermen won the ASEAN league earlier this week. Congrats to the big man, he's way in the back, can only see his head.
