We are now at #7 Rivals, USC #8... Sad thing is that USC only shows 14 commits...

All in all, I'm ecstatic about where we are and I think DD is doing a great job!!!

If I had to guess we will probably finish below USC...but how sweet would it be that after the dust settles we are ahead of them!

Agree 110%. But you never know, we could be surprised but I'm not counting on it. I want Rogers as much as the next guy and he is obviously the one to watch on NSD, but I am trying not to set myself up for too much of a letdown if it doesn't happen...

I don't like Copeland going to visit LSU. He has a friend down there and has said he would be very interested if he gets an offer.

I think we'll jump LSU but any chance of surpassing Oklahoma for the #5 spot?
#5 Oklahoma has 29 committed (maxed out) and UT 22 so far.

Yeah sometimes I think people forget that we're not the only ones that are gonna get some commits between now and Wednesday.

At this point, I'm not sure if we can get Delvin Jones back, since we signed Rivera. Maybe, but I don't know if we're going to use a spot for him. Rogers, Stone, Glass, Clark, Crump maybe. Robinson, I don't think so. Would be nice to get this list, but I just don't think it's possible. And I also think we keep Williams. We may lose Loften to go to SC, but if he wants to leave then fine.

I can handle losing Eddrick Loften to USC because technically they were recruiting him to Tennessee and you know they are going to give him the "USC Monte Kiffin" spill. The kid seems easily persuaded and they will be hard to turn down IMO (even if they do have 10 5* safties ahead of him on the depth chart. Who I do NOT want to lose is J.C. Copeland. LSU is going to go hard after him and it is likely they will sign him in the end. Lance Thompson has got to get on him and fast. We are in desperate need of DT's and he is projected to be a good one. On that note, I see us finishing around #10-#11 overall with Da' Rick Rogers choosing UT in the end. Regardless, in 2011, we must focus on DL, OL, and LBs. Go Vols and finish strong!

I watched the film on crump... He played DE but he is NOT a DE. He has good closing speed and he gets off blocks but... in the sec he is going to contend with much better tackles and TEs blocking. I would like to see film of him at OLB.

Ok can somebody do the math for us? How many scholarships do we have left? How many are sign and place? How many are back counted? Can we thumb our nose at the SEC limit and take them all ? Oops sorry that was the last staff.

you cant just say nope. what support do you have. this is a kid i dont think saban will get. their ol is already stacked. he used to be a vol fan. if he makes a surprise visit to ut then we have a chance at him and damien. but if he visits bama he is auburn bound. i dont see how he would pick bama despite them winning the ncg.
