End of 4th with Gators scoring the first 2 runs of the game.
Gruver has already more than 80 pitches.

To anyone that watched last night, how was the Florida pitcher able to throw a complete game on only 74 pitches? That is unreal.

He consistently threw first pitch strikes that produced ground balls for an out.

Because he is that amazing, and the Vols offense continues to be inept on Fridays in SEC games.

End of 5 innings Gators 2-0. Vols need to end the shutout. Hit homeruns.

2 run Hr by Norfork that is what I am talking about. No doubt about it he smashed it.
Base hit by Osborne.

A double play to end the inning but the game is tied now 2-2.
Norfork made a amazing defensive play, and got the critical hit.

Strike out, and batter interference to end the 6th. It's 4-2 Gators but the Vols hitting is not as dead as it was before the Norfork double hr.

Does he like working with the bases loaded or something?

Today the Vols have put themselves in to many jams. They won't win any games against top 25 teams, and in the SEC if that continues.
Seven runs in the 7th for the top dog Gators.

There was no chance to turn it on that bunt.

Exactly so throw to first.

Today the Vols put themselves in to many jams. The game could be 20-0.
Also failed to take advantage of opportunties.
Vols denied scoring the first run with the Gators jumping to deny Norfork a base hit.
Vols with momentum Liles hits the ball into a predictable double play.

Game over 11-2 Gators win. The third straight weekend Vols lose a division series. 2-6 in the SEC.

2 times the Vols had a chance to take the lead. First time it was early in the game Norfork had the hit but the jump by a Gators play to deny the base hit, and deplorable double play. Vols fail to get the critical hits.
The Vols had to many jams today, and it finally became a disastor in the 7th with 7 runs.

I would be happy if the Vols would win tommorow to prevent a sweep, and end their losing streak on Sunday in the SEC.
