I just got in to Knoxville for my buddy’s 40th celebration. I’m watching this fight. Never know when it will be the last time we see Tyson throw a punch. Out of all the great athletes from my childhood, he’s the only one still suiting up.

Either it was all I knew or I grew up during a truly special time. Mike Tyson, Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson, Ken Griffey Jr. and Wayne Gretzky. Seems like a larger than life athlete in every sport. Maybe Nike just had an incredible marketing campaign? 🤷‍♂️

Paul kept his distance and used his reach to pick up points. He showed a very healthy respect for Tyson’s power. Unfortunately, Tyson doesn’t have the legs of a 20 year old to close this distance. That used to be Tyson’s greatest attribute.

I actually gained some respect for Jake tonight. He showed some class when he didn't have to.

Hate to agree but I have to. He showed a lot of respect for Tyson and probably could've made things ugly.
Not a fan of the antics but he really puts on a masterclass of playing the guy want to see get knocked out, in order to sale a fight a make a ton of money. Gotta respect thst he knows what he's doing from a business standpoint.

I still wouldn’t want to steal Mike Tyson’s geritol….

And now that that is over, it’s 1:43 am, and I’m wide awake ……and I’m considering letting my neighborhood hear some Rocky Top whether they want to or not…..

I am so pumped for this game. Georgia is going to get fisted.

Good morning. We live in Dallas and went to the fight. The main event was underwhelming, but man, it was cool to see Tyson. In his heyday Paul wouldn't have made it out of the first round. The women right before, however, beat the snot out of each other. That was an excellent bout.

The two previous fights were really good. How cool is it that a 58 year old can headline a clash between multiple campions?

It was a sparring match at best, but in hindsight, I'm glad it was. No one in that stadium except for a few punks wanted to see Tyson go down. In his heyday, Mike would have had Paul down on the mat in the first round and everyone, including Paul, knew it.

Watching the Arkansas vs Texas game as warm-up. Can’t believe we managed to find a way to drop a game to this Razorback team. They aren’t very good.
