Official Game Thread: #9 Tennessee at #4 Michigan State (3:30 BTN)

I did not think I was going to sweat and feel this nervous about the end of an exhibition game but here we are. Hard to ever just watch a game and not care about getting an L even in an exhibition lol.
I want them to win but like Coach said this helps them find out way more than a week of practice. This is definitely a top 10 team.

When MSU players started to get chippy and wanting to throw hands I got emotionally invested.

Having a true road game against a top 5 team that doesn't count is great. It is testing our emotional ability to respond to every shift of momentum MSU gets.

This is unbelievably good for this team. Playing in this kind of environment where the result doesn’t matter is fantastic. Will make going into wisconsin a little easier. These exhibitions that college basketball has started doing is great for the game
Kinda nice that the MSU fans showed out. This is helpful to some of these new guys getting to play under noise and pressure.

People will get on mashack for the bad shot but at some point someone other than him has to be willing to shoot a low shot clock shot

For how many years have we said this? Pretty much every year...

And Michigan State//Izzo always has at least a couple of bangers. We never have bigs who bang.
We recruit guards very well. Forwards, not so much. Schofield and Williams were diamonds in the rough. We haven’t gotten another like them since. Wonder why
